You may take classes at UC Clermont College without being formally admitted to a degree or certificate program. Taking classes as a non-degree student at UC Clermont College is a great way to update your current skill set or obtain a new skill to advance your career.The credits you earn may apply to degree or certificate requirements if you later decide to seek admission.
You can enroll for classes following these easy steps:
1. Decide when you want to start The College operates three 10-week quarters during the academic year.Abbreviated terms are offered during summer session and Winterim (December break).Non-degree students may enroll at the beginning of any quarter, and should begin the registration process at least one month prior to the beginning of the quarter in which you intend to enroll.You can view the academic calendar at http://www.ucclermont.edu/collegecalendars/academic_calendar.html
2. Select the course you want to take
Placement Tests Placement tests are required before you enroll in mathematics, English or computer classes.You can learn more about the placement test process and requirements at http://www.ucclermont.edu/PlacementTest/default.html
Pre-requisites Some courses require that you have specific skills or knowledge before you can enroll.The prerequisites for the course, if any, are listed in the Pre/Co-requisite column on OneStop.
You can view class offerings by visiting OneStop Student Services online.Already know the class you want to take?Select the term, select 34 - Clermont College as the college, then select the discipline of the class to view all the available classes.Not sure which class you’re interested in?Search for classes then select the term, select 34 - Clermont College as the college, and select any additional search criteria if you want to narrow the search based on your schedule.
3. Complete the Basic Data Form You must complete the Basic Data Form before you can enroll in a class. Download the form at http://www.onestop.uc.edu/documents/BasicDataForm.pdf and fax, email, mail, or bring it to the Registration Office.

After your Basic Data Form has been entered, the Registration Office will contact you to give you your student identification number so that you may register for classes online at the OneStop Student Services website.
4. Register for the Class on OneStop
Online Registration To register online, students should: - View class offerings on the OneStop website. - Choose classes, noting call numbers, days and times, and complete schedule. - Access "register for classes" on the OneStop website. You will be asked for: - Student ID Number - PIN (Personal Identification Number) - Initially your PIN is MMDDYYYY of your birthday. You will be prompted to change your PIN which you will use for any future uses of Web applications. - Key in the call numbers for the classes for which you want to register and submit. - Correct any errors or add requested information. - Submit again. - To drop a class, click the "drop" box next to the class and submit. - Click on "view schedule" to check your schedule and see classes with days and times, rooms, and buildings. - You can also "view my bill." Your bill will show an accurate account of your charges and credits on the day following your registration or add/drop.
What if you decide you want to earn a certificate or degree?
After you’ve taken a course or two, you may decide you’d like to pursue one of our certificate or degree programs.In order to do that, you will need to complete the admissions process.More information about the admissions process can be found by following the Apply to a degree program or Apply to a certificate program links on the Future Students web page.The credits you’ve earned as a non-degree seeking student may apply toward your certificate or degree.For specific information, please check with an academic advisor.
